Elster Messtechnik GmbH and Elster GmbH are companies of the Elster group, a world leader in metering technology.

The main activities of the Elster Messtechnik GmbH are the production, calibration, certification and supply of water and heat meters for various purposes. These are for use by utilities, in the local and commercial range as well as for consumption-dependent billing within the scope of housing industry.

Elster GmbH produces high precise electricity meters for various applications. For remote meter readings a broad portfolio of modems for different communication solutions is available. An additional activity is the ripple control technology, proven for tariff switching and load control including load management functionality.
